Hello everyone, I’m looking for some suggestions on improving an assessment on constellations. Right now the one we are using is very low DOK - identification only - we show them a picture and they select which constellation they are seeing. I know that I can have them draw or use the show their work panel to increase DOK but am looking for other suggestions!

The only things I can think of have to do with the calendar.
– sort by season?
– order them by calendar year and when they are visible in your area?
– Show a picture… have them write and identify the constellation by name, how it got that name, time of year/season it appears… what constellations surround it?
