Embedding simulations

Not everything creates an iFrame embed code which seems to me to be what is needed in a formative.

What do you do if the embed request produces a non-iFrame embed code? I’d like to use other tools for Math and Science but wondered how others embedded all the cool things you are doing.

Thanks,
Dawn

@Dawn_Frier1 I do a screen shot and insert it as a picture.

@Dawn_Frier1 You can highlight words in a sentence and link them to an external website. I don’t know if that is a new feature or just one that I have been missing, lol! I noticed it yesterday

Great workarounds @michael.lutz & @tbland! Another option is to use a site like https://www.iframe-generator.com/ to create an embed code! You simply need to insert a link, click on the “Generate” button, and the embed code will appear below:

You can then paste it into the embed block in Formative! Please note that only sites that use “https” will work! If you are unfamiliar with the difference between “https” and “http”, https is the secure version of “http”!
