I am trying to insert a division symbol into my short answer question using math block. Could someone please share the LateX for the division symbol with me please?

Thanks Frank! I was thinking of adding it directly in-line with the text and found that you can use: option/
I totally forgot about the math text editor! In the past, I’ve used https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/LaTeX/Mathematics which I’ve found easy to navigate, but I also like the resource you provided too. It seems to include extra symbols!

Are you on a Mac? I just looked this up today for a math quiz I was creating on formative! If you are on a Mac you can push the alt button and then push the forward slash to create your ÷ sign.
