Good Evening Everyone! I want to create an interactive map with my students. I would like them to be able to locate and notate certain items on a map of France within a formative. Is this possible? Any suggestions on how I can do this?

Hey Jasper!
Have you tried using a Show Your Work question? All you have to do is insert a Show Your Work question, click on “Edit background”, and insert your map using the photo icon on the left. Your student will then be able to draw, and even type/write their answers into that question type.
I made an example formative for you in my own account and shared it below. I hope it helps!

Hi Marco!
This is so awesome! I didn’t even think about using Formative for my map activities!! As an 8th grade social studies teacher, this will be a go-to for me!!
Thanks so much for sharing. You just gave me a way to make my map activities much more fun too!
